Students from the Gakoni Adventist Academy (all Impact Hope refugee scholars) have taken second place out of 152 regional schools in the Educate! (Exchange District School Business Club Exhibition 2017).The awards were given for their performance in the product makers competition, being awarded for best branding and high quality production.
Pictured is one of their many products, Utamu Tea, which is made from avocado seed, ginger, rosemary, and bay leaves. The business club’s other products include liquid soap, bar soap, shoe polish, and paper bags!
