The Oregon Conference Women’s Retreat has done it again! Last year, many of the 98 girls who were walking to school every day from the Gihembe refugee camp were sponsored as a result of the retreat. This year, the main offering was again decided to go towards Impact Hope. But this time, the offering was for the sewing machines to be used in the Summer Training Program. Over $10,000 was raised for the second year in a row, which is more than enough to purchase the 60 machines needed for the training program. The excess will be used to purchase other essentials for the sewing program. Thank you, Oregon women!
